Wisdom Teeth Removal
Safe, comfortable wisdom tooth removal — often in a single visit.
Why get wisdom teeth removed? Your jaw may not be large enough for them and they may be unable to break through your gums. This often leads to swelling and or infection if not treated in advance. One or more of your wisdom teeth may come in at an awkward angle, with the top of the tooth facing forward, backward, or to either side. A more serious problem can develop from impacted teeth, such as infection or damage to other teeth and bone. Individuals between the ages of 17 and 25 have an increased risk for their wisdom teeth to become impacted, which can lead to pain, infection, or damage of adjacent teeth or roots. To ease the comfort of removal, we offer sedation dentistry to complete the procedure in a safe and relaxing environment. This is completed at our office, saving you a visit to the specialist. Our experienced anesthetist, Amy, as well as Dr. Hammoud perform the procedure regularly and in safe and timely manner. Call our office today for more information!
