Emergency FAQs
What counts as a dental emergency?+
Severe or sudden pain, broken teeth, knocked-out tooth, dental abscess, lost crowns or fillings, swelling, or uncontrolled bleeding all qualify as emergencies.
Do I need an appointment for emergency care?+
Call us first — we'll have everything ready when you arrive, which means faster care. Walk-ins are accommodated when possible.
What should I do if my tooth gets knocked out?+
Keep the tooth moist — place it back in the socket or in a cup of milk. Call us immediately and come in right away. A tooth reimplanted within an hour has the best chance of survival.
Can I get IV sedation for an emergency procedure?+
Yes. If you're in severe pain or highly anxious, IV sedation is available so you won't feel or remember anything.
What are your emergency hours?+
Call us during business hours for same-day emergency appointments. If you're calling after hours, leave a message and we'll return your call first thing.
